are these leather?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, as far as I can tell, the shoe is leather. Also, there appears to be a piece of swede and patent leather across the toe. For your information: When I first received this pair of pumps they were so BIG. I wear an 8 1/2, which is what the shoe said. I sent them back for a 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly.

if i order wide will i need to go down a size?

BEST ANSWER: Normally I take a wide width shoe, however, based on other reviews that they tend to run wide, I ordered the regular width in my normal size. I found the shoe to be comfortable at my regular size.
