I have wide feet, too. But it's really not necessary for these shoes. They are very stretchy and conform to the shape of your foot. I've been buying these shoes for years, and as long as you get the right size from the size chart (they're marked with European sizes), they'll fit perfectly.

These shoes, because of their "stretchability" if you will, can accommodate a reasonably proportionate amount of foot widths.

BEST ANSWER: Because of the way this shoe hugs the foot I think it would be ok for you. My heel used to be narrow (along with my whole foot) - I mostly need the wider widths for the ball of my foot area and so some shoes do gape at my heel - but not this one. Sue

I bought these as a gift for someone that wears a 9-9-1/2 shoe depending on the style. I got her a 41 which was perfect.. So, I believe you would wear a 39.

BEST ANSWER: No, the insole is permanent - so it doesn't slip around or get twisted. I love mine - bought white for summer and black for winter. They are all I wear in the house - every day - and I've had the black ones for several years. Still comfy..

BEST ANSWER: I would order an 8 because they are almost like socks so give a bit. You wouldnt want them to flop. I adore mine and wear them shelling. They dry slowly the first few times but after a few washes, they dry quickly. I adore mine and have considered wearing them for airplane travel. They are sort of an update of the old fashioned slipper sox. Hope this was helpful

I'd go with at least the 39 (8 1/2) or the 40 (9). They are a little tight and I've only worn mine a few times, but they probably will stretch out a bit.

These shoes are stretchy but still snug. For total cmfort I would go with the bigger sixe si if your feet swell evenba little bit they won't feel tight.

There really is no heel to speak of; the shoe is relatively flat, with at most 1/4" of unnoticeable "heel." I have a paralyzed leg with an ankle that cannot move at all so I cannot wear even the smallest height. These are no higher than a pair of "ballet slippers."

Are they good for diabetic people?

BEST ANSWER: I don't know as I am not diabetic, but I would think they would be all right for diabetics as the shoes don't irritate any of the skin area if they are not too small. I really like my comfort knit shoes as I had a bunion removed sometime ago and it took awhile until I could wear my regular shoes.
