BEST ANSWER: It is 100% polyester with a mesh lining. I wore it to New Orleans for 3 days and never noticed any sweating like those older nylon windbreakers.

BEST ANSWER: yes, just a little, so if you are between sizes go for larger. I prefer clothes to be slightly loose rather than slightly tight. I happen to love mine! ??

BEST ANSWER: No, the hood is not detachable, but it is a nice little jacket for early mornings and evenings while it is still cool.
I found it quite large in sizing.

BEST ANSWER: No it does not - it is fully attached with a drawstring to tighten around the face. If you are considering purchasing this windbreaker I highly recommend it. It is the most comfortable I have ever owned
Has anyone gotten the buttercup color of this jacket. If so is it sort of a peachy yellow instead of the bright yellow shown on the site?? Just trying to see if mine was a fluke color. Need to know whether to exchange it and hope for more yellow color or just return it. Thanks Mary

BEST ANSWER: My buttercup jacket was exactly that buttercup yellow and just beautiful. My sister also purchased the same as she liked mine so much and her jacket was also pure buttercup yellow.

BEST ANSWER: I have the small. I am 5'7" and weigh about 133, and it fits me just right. I think the small is a true small. I would suggest the larger size, as I'd rather have more room, than less room. I don't like things that are snug. Hope this helps!

BEST ANSWER: It is loose from the inside of the jacket but is attached along the bottom, top and sides of the jacket.

BEST ANSWER: The sleeves have elastic at the cuff but the bottom is straight with drawstrings which I prefer as it gives me a better fit.

BEST ANSWER: It depends on where you want the jacket bottom to hit. 23" is way too short for me, and I will normally NOT buy anything shorter than 24-25", but I wear a regular size, not a petite. My mom wears a petite, and 23" is probably good for her b/c she doesn't like anything to hang very low, unless it's a 3/4-length jacket. She's about 4'11" tall. This jacket looks longer than it really is, and I have not worn it yet b/c it's too short for my liking, but I will eventually wear it with a tucked-in or shorter-length top.

BEST ANSWER: I can't speak for every size...but in the petite small (the windbreaker I purchased) the shoulder-to-jacket- bottom length is 23.5". Hope this helps. Hope it also helps to know that I LOVE my windbreaker! It's extremely light, but provides all the protection one could ever need from wind, rain, and/or light snow. The pockets are nice and large, the mesh lining keeps the jacket from becoming too hot (which was the case with my previous jacket), the hood provides extra protection from the elements, and the jacket dries quickly and thoroughly. I'd definitely purchase this windbreaker again and highly recommend it to others. BM-P
