BEST ANSWER: This means that the leg is cut & sewn narrow as it goes down the leg but there is plenty of room for you to put you legs down the leg of the pant. They are meant to make your legs look narrower & you to look taller.

BEST ANSWER: No cotton. 100% polyester. But I love them. They keep their shape and are comfortable to wear.
How do I order it in petite short? There are no petite shorts listed.

BEST ANSWER: When I bought these pants I was heavier than I am now so that "picked up" the pant legs just enough. Otherwise I would have had to hem them which I do now. As long as there are petites available I know I can do that and the rest of the pant will fit well. If there are no petites available at all then I just keep looking.

BEST ANSWER: Since I'm short (4'11") I always have to shorten them but I've found them to be of the normal length of any other pants I've tried on. Very comfortable, I might add.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, it does stretch some. My problem with them is they draw lint like crazy. When I wore the black and navy ones, I had to use a roller on them after they were washed. and almost had to carry a roller with me. The come out of the dryer wrinkled and it takes steam to get them ironed. They do seem to be getting better after several washes. They do fit well.

Does Alfred Dunner line any of his pants. My grandmother who is 97 loves the Dunner line but the slacks are not appropriate for New England weather why?

BEST ANSWER: I don't believe the Dunner line carries any lined pants. I have had quite a few of the Alfred Dunner pants and I wear them all winter and found them to be warm enough. Some of the pants are a little heavier then the summer pants.

BEST ANSWER: It's heavier than cotton, has a slight sheen, washes beautifully and never needs ironing. Doesn't wrinkle badly either. I have these in 4 different colors and love them. I'm between a misses and a petite, so the misses short is exactly the right length. The material does pick easily, so be careful.
On Alfred Dunner pants -- what does "generously sized" mean? If I usually wear a 10 -- should I order an 8?

BEST ANSWER: A misses 14 short inseam should be approximately 27". According to the Alfred Dunner size chart, it goes M=30",MS=27",P=28",PS=26",W=30", and WP=28". I hope this helps. My mom is 5' or at most 5'1". I get misses short for her. I am 5'3", but plus size; therefore, I get women's petite for myself.
Do you have average length pants for women sizes. These stated the inseam was only 27"?

BEST ANSWER: Absolutely. They are very comfortable, the knees do not bag nor does the seat. They wash beautifully and last a long time. I own several pairs and keep buying more in different colors (which do not fade).

How does misses short compare to petite short which is what I need? I worry that misses short might run too wide.

BEST ANSWER: I don't think the width changes. The petite short is an inch too short and the petite is an inch too long for me, so it depends on whether the pants are for summer wear with sandals or for dressier wear with higher heels. In the latter case I can have them shortened ($14.50 where I live) or shorten them myself. I wear an 8 which fits more attractively in the butt or a 10 to accommodate my larger waist measurement. Hope this helps.

BEST ANSWER: I usually wear a petite size 12 due to leg length, but when I looked at the Alfred Dunner pull on the length seemed shorter than other manufacturers so I ordered the Misses and they fit fine.
