does it shrink in wash?

BEST ANSWER: It should not shrink if machine washed in cold water, gentle cycle. Tumble dry.

Does skin show through the lace trim, or is the trim on top of white material?

BEST ANSWER: It is too thin to wear by itself, so I wear a sleeveless white top under it so my bra straps and etc. don't show through. I really love it and wear it a lot. I really recommend this blouse. You can wear it summer and winter.

The lace is only 1/2" wide and it is not over the white material. However, the holes in the lace are so small that you don't have to worry about anything showing from underneath. By the way, I love this shirt. It's so pretty.

There is no backing behind the 5/8" trim down the front. The holes in the lace are about 1/8". In theory, a little skin shows, but as long and you don't wear a black bra, it's not noticable.

The lase is a trim on top of white material. No skin shows. TAKE NOTE!! It is NOT wrinkle free. otherwise it is a nice blouse. Runs a bit small.

BEST ANSWER: This blouse definitely needs ironing, also I did not wear a slip under it - there was no problem with see-through.
