What does generous sizing mean? Do I need to go a size smaller than usual?

BEST ANSWER: Rosemary, I bought this in my regular size because I like my clothing to fit loosely over the many curves in my body. The fit satisfies my OCD regarding NOT clinging and it looks great. Love it!!

No. my size is small, and it is definitely generous. it is a it long for me and the sleeves are. Too wide but I can fix them. Overall I like the sweater.

I usually wear a Medium and the sweater is a little bulky. I think the Small would be too small though

I don't think you need to buy a smaller size. It's typical Alfred Dunner sizing.

BEST ANSWER: No, the necklace is NOT part of the sweater; however, I have several of these sweaters, and coordinating necklaces for them has never been a problem. They lend themselves to chains, beads, and several types of man-made and natural materials as accessories. retrored
