BEST ANSWER: I have a Misses Medium. The center back (top of the back of the collar to back hem) is 37 inches. On the side, shoulder seam to hem is 32 inches. It hits a little above the knee as pictured. I live in southern New England, and its more of a 3 season coat. Not appropriate for cold weather.
does it have a zip in - zip out liner?

BEST ANSWER: The lining buttons on and off as does the hood. This is a light weight coat which is perfect for Florida
where I live. However, I did take it to London last year in May and it was adequate. Doesn't seem
to wrinkle. I have hand carried it on a plane four times in the last year and no trouble with wrinkling.

BEST ANSWER: The lining is machine washable, and has an upper layer of 90% Acrylic and 10% wool. The lower layer fabric is 80% Polyester and 20% cotton.

BEST ANSWER: They have a habit of showing ll different colors. The one I sent back was between a royal and a navy. It was not the light blue. My daughter didn't want it.I bought the periwinkle for myself.

BEST ANSWER: It is a medium-weight coat that is warm enough for fall and fairly cold winter days. I have worn mine with a sweater or layers under it and been comfortable even on colder days, but it isn't a "storm parka." Overall, I am very satisfied with it.

BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't call it a swing coat. It looks a little fuller on the picture than it is. I would maybe call it a car coat. It's a very nice coat--soft microsuede and a nice button out liner.

BEST ANSWER: I purchased the coat in a teal color...very pretty. The lining which buttons in is a non descript brown-charcoal. Hope that helps!
is the microsuede balmacaan coat warm? Are the sleeves lined with satiny fabric?

BEST ANSWER: It is warmer than a usual casual unlined lightweight jacket. I live near Cincinnati and this is appropriate for coldest spring days and a chilly fall day (but not a cold one). I particularly liked this coat for 3 reasons:
1). Not often I find one in this beautiful blue.
2). It's weight makes it very flexible for me depending on the weather. All my previous coats were either too lightweight or too heavy. This provides a unique position of being right between those two categories.
3). It is a dressy coat. Catches peoples' eyes because of the nice-looking fabric.

Washes well. (Not liner of course)
Very happy with it.

Yes, the sleeves are line with the satiny fabric. But, remember it also has a detachable inner liner.

BEST ANSWER: This coat is water resistant, as in running from the car to the store in a downpour. I do not know how resistant it would be if standing in rain for any length of time - at a bus stop. I have not had that circumstance to know. I do like the coat.

BEST ANSWER: The label indicates that the coat was made in China. I have an almost identical coat that I purchased a couple of years ago and it was made in Vietnam. The coat made in 'Nam is a better fit in the shoulders. The one from China is tighter in the shoulders. I've noted this tendency in other clothes that were made in China. Somebody needs to remind them that we Americans are not built the same as they are. Several friends have noticed the same tendency.

BEST ANSWER: The sleeves of this coat are constructed differently on the back from the front and then joined at the shoulder seam which lies to the front of the natural shoulder. The front sleeve is "set in," but the back sleeve extending over the top of the shoulder is raglan and allows the back of the coat to hang from the shoulders
without pulling across the back as can be a problem in garments with set in sleeves.

BEST ANSWER: Well, Lee, today I wore mine in a downpour with strong winds and it did just fine. I live in Western New York and we get our share of storms too. When I got home, I draped it over a chair to dry out before hanging it up in the closet. If I had to buy a coat again, I would not hesitate of re-order the same one. Love it!
Has the lining and liner construction issue been corrected? I like the coat but have returned two because of the way the front hangs.
