The purse is about 13" long and 10" high. It has an outside zippered pocket and two more pockets on each end for sunglasses, etc. There's lots of room inside with more pockets. One of the nicest bags I've ever had.

what is the length of the shoulder strap?

BEST ANSWER: I use the middle of three holes in the strap. The measurement is 13" from the middle shoulder to the bottom of the bag sitting so it fits under my arm. I am 5' tall.
