Rated 4 out of 5 by Lullabye I appreciated same color pants and a mock tee.
A big problem with these pants is that they were quite wrinkled and required a lot of ironing, even though they had been through a washing cycle.

This is a good quality item in a beautiful color. These slacks have some nice features, but they were not what I expected.
First, I expected "Washable Woolen Slacks" to look and feel as if they have a higher wool content than they actually do. Instead, they look like the 69% polyester - 18% rayon -13% wool product that they are. In fact, they look and hang more like gabardine - even to the point of how they wrinkle and where they shine.
I am not sure what the real problem is in regard to my second issue.
The first time I tried on these slacks, I thought that I had ordered the wrong size. But the lable indicated that they were the correct size. For me, they were slightly tighter around the hips and waist than other slacks I have in the very same size from other manufacturers. So I thought, "this brand just runs small." Then I sat down in them. They were not comfortable.
Are they wearable for me? Yes...but I do not feel as comfortable or as confident as I would wish. Consequently, I have not chosen to wear them very much since I purchased them.
The real problem, however, may not be in the sizing, but in the cut.
Many of the slacks I wear are cut and sewn in subtle ways to allow a great fit for a woman's figure. I have a young friend who has a more boyish figure than I. When she put on these slacks, they were a perfect fit and she looks absolutely terrific in them. The crotch in these slacks have a higher rise which is perfect for her shape and she has a flatter tummy, so not only could she wear them well, she could sit down in them comfortably...and she loved them!
So, I passed them to her as a gift.
Needless to say, this experience reminded me that many women may wear the very same size, height and weight, but have a different body type within that size and cut.
Would I buy this particular style for myself again? No. But I am not suggesting that it is a bad product.
What I do recommend is that a purchaser of this particular product would be well served to consider the body type of the model wearing the slacks and then consider her own body type and proportion relationships more carefully than I did.
I ordered these because they seemed to me to be a good product fairly priced in a great color! I believe that's true. But they are not for me. Perhaps they are perfect for you!

Ordered this pant in charcoal and it goes nicely with the garnet boiled wool jacket however.........I would really love them except for two "problems". I feel that the fabric should be a little heavier but will wear long silk underwear with them in the winter so that will solve that problem . The other, too much elastic in the back that creates a bunchy look - as I will be wearing them with t-necks and sweaters that will not be tucked in I guess that problem will also be solved. Would not recommend buying them if you prefer to wear a tucked in shirt and belt.

I could fit a second person in the seat of these pants.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Yainie The material wrinkles terribly.
I used a steamer, since there were creases on the pants where they had been folded in shipping. After one wearing, the slacks were extremely wrinkled. I had order a second pair in another color, which I will return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Georgiapeach57 I love these Pants
This is my first pair of Appleseed's washable wool pants, and I am very pleased with them. I ordered my size in petite. They are a little tight in the waist, but not to the point where I would order a different size. Being 5' 5", I love the fact they come in petites now. The length is perfect with flats. I know I will be wearing these for years to come.

Rated 3 out of 5 by redhotmama There is very little wool in these slacks...
For slacks advertised as "wool" pants, there is remarkably little natural fiber in them. Also, they were quite snug. I am sending them back and will try them in a larger size. I hope this works.
